URASTUN manufactures approximately
175 assemblies using a variety of joining technologies.
Our resistance welding machines have capacities of up to 125 KVA to
join components with varying sheet thickness.
Many of our assemblies require projections of nuts, bolts, studs etc.
of different sizes. Our projection welding machines have the capacity
to project nuts up to 12mm.
The integrated transformer guns enable single station assembly of
large parts in the least amount of time with the greatest accuracy.
These machines are used for parts requiring more than 15 spot welds.
For products where mig welding is a critical and hazardous factor
in terms of performance, we use our ABB make IRB 1400 industrial
robot. The robot has a payload capacity of 4 to 5 Kilograms ( 8-
10 lbs.) and has a reach of 1.8 meters max. Welding speeds that
reach a maximum of 2.5 meters per minute coupled with the six-axis
movement means that hard to reach critical joints can be welded
with speed and accuracy.
